OnePlus dropping the Pro from the 11 Series?
It’s a plus one to the OnePlus series. OnePlus has been busy adding their “ones” this year, it seems like they will get busier next year. The OnePlus 11 is expected to be out for Christmas and here are some specs gathered from some reliable sources by our team. So what are the expected specifications? Alert slider back on, snapdragon upgradation, efficient fast charging, and more?
Variants
Not a Pro? Then what?
OnePlus might be signing off in 2022 with the OnePlus 11 series. What’s new? The old “Pro” line-up may be dropped. It is expected that they might drop the Pro variant from the next flagship series. — it’s just the OnePlus 11 this time? — No. There should be the OnePlus 11 R and the OnePlus 11 T.
Screen and the CPU
Give us some numbers.
The 11 series is expected to carry the same screen ratios of its last few generations of flagship phones— a 6.7” LTPO curved screen that will have a resolution of 3124×1440 pixels — and is likely to be backed by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, which is yet to go official in November at the Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit.
Battery
It can be an “L” for the Battery. And L for Large.
OnePlus rarely left us disappointed with its battery performance. The OnePlus 11 is going to be euphoric with the 5000mAh and with the fast charging support of 100W. We can’t keep calm to do a blog on the hands-on experience.
Camera
When the experts meet.
The new flagship is expected to have triple-rear cameras; a 50MP primary sensor, a 48MP ultrawide lens, and a 32MP telephoto with a 12MP selfie camera. The never settling brand has teamed up with the Swedish camera maker — Hasselblad — since the OnePlus 9 launch and ever since that the Hasselblad-tuned cameras have been giving the best shots to the users.
What more?
The OnePlus users were highly disappointed with the vanishing of the Alert Slider and OnePlus expressed that it was removed for the sake of space. Now there are rumors that the delightful feature can be expected to be back in the 11 series. Yes, things are made easy with tackling. Also, the smartphone is said to compete with the upcoming iQOO 11.
When to be expected?
Ho, Ho, Ho…
It is expected that the 11 series will be kicking off before the end of 2022. Do we expect it by December? A pre-Christmas treat for us maybe. But yeah, several months gap can be expected between the Chinese and Global release.
We know the infamous OnePlus 10 Pro bent was heartbreaking, no assurance on that but scratches and drops are a real pain. By the time the phone is out, we will have our wardrobe lit with the cool skins and protectors for the OnePlus 11. So, let’s hang on for now, and meanwhile check us out for your current device.
